Rules for using the All Saints Forums

The views expressed in these forums are those of the individuals who have posted them, and do not reflect the views of the All Saints Church, Hartford team.

The forums are provided as a free service, but we do ask all members to abide by a few simple rules.

This is a Christian website and as such we would like the content to encompass Christian values.

These include but are not limited to:

Respect for all people and their opinions

Humility

Honesty

Morality

Generosity

Practicing what you preach

Avoiding self-righteousness and judgment of others

Treating people as you would like to be treated

Forgiveness

1) Be civil to other members. Constructive arguments are fine, but abuse will not be tolerated.

2) Don't swear. This includes profanity that is masked using ast*r*sks, etc.

3) Don't post adult content - this forum is visible to everyone who visits the website, so must remain family-friendly.

4) Do not post anything that is likely to offend or distress other members, especially content that discriminates against people on grounds of their religion or race.

5) Do not post illegal content or instructions explaining how to perform illegal actions.

6) Do not post content that promotes specific political parties or organisations, unless the intent is to provide specific assistance to other forum users.

7) Don't create more than one user account..

8) If you see a post that violates any rule, please report it using Report offensive content button below, stating the forum, topic and content that is offensive. An administrator will review the content, to see if it breaches the forum rules.

Anyone who breaks any of the forum rules can expect to see the post in question deleted without warning and may receive a written warning or in severe cases a temporary or permanent suspension from the forum.

I hope you will appreciate that these rules are simply in place to keep the forums a friendly place for all to enjoy. We hope that they will only have to be enforced infrequently, if ever.
