Our Team
Hi, I'm Mark Savage, the Team Vicar. I'm married to Sara. Following a career as a secondary school teacher, I trained for the ministry at Ridley Hall, Cambridge and was ordained to a title in the Ely Team in 1996.
In May 1999, I moved to be Team Vicar in the Huntingdon Team.
In my spare time I am restoring a 1930s Broads cruiser, so the local rivers are important to me.
Val Rule
Hello, I'm Elaine Levitt. I am married to Peter, with three grown up children and two grandchildren.
I have been a Licensed Lay Minister (Reader) since 1997 and love my ministry here. I am at present Chair of the Readers' Board, and part of a team planning a Conference for LLMs in 2010, so life can be busy. I relax by reading and have recently revived my knitting skills!
Hi I'm Linda the organist and choir leader at Hartford.
I started playing the organ when I was about 16 years old. Quite a few years ago now!
Several years ago there was no one to play at Hartford. I did my usual "I can play the organ". Yes they took me up on my offer and I have been here ever since.
My role is to help lead the musical parts of our worship. The choir are a great support to me and we are always open for new members.
Originally from Cheltenham, I have worshipped at All Saints' Hartford for over 30 years, during which time the church has been the place of my family's baptisms, confirmations, weddings, marriage blessing and a funeral. I sing in the choir, as do four of my granddaughters. For 5 years I have been secretary of the Parochial Church Council (PCC), which is partly composed of elected church members, and which makes important decisions in the running of the church. I am happy to take any of your questions or suggestions to the committee meetings if you so wish.
