Welcome
We meet on Monday mornings from 10 am to 12 noon in the Church Room. It is a friendly gathering where we bring our craft and share our skills with each other. You do not have to be an expert, we are all finding we can do new things! Do come and try us!

If you are isolated at home why not join us in making sure that something good comes out of the current situation? We are planning to keep ourselves busy by either knitting or sewing squares which will then be made into lap blankets or quilts for the residents of homes such as Hunters Down. Latest Communication from Rev Sam Perez 22nd August 2022 “Dear all, Fr Geoff thought it would be a good idea, if I presented to the group at Crafty Saints the proposal of making blankets for those who will need it in our area during the winter season. I am very pleased to announce that, after proposing it to the group, they agree to commit themselves to make some blankets. These blankets would also include pet blankets. It seems that the consensus is that they might make little squares which then will be sewn together, and also produce some already made blankets. I thought it could be something worth alerting the Mayor of Huntingdon of our offer so that they can distrubute them, but if we ended up having some blankets left, we could always donate them to the food bank whom, I’m sure, will give it a good home. Due to the on-going projects that we are undergoing at the moment for the season of Advent and Christmas, we thought that it could be a good idea to open up this initiative to anyone in the congregation who so wants to participate (either by making a square or making a whole blanket). We are giving ourselves until the beginning of October to be able to offer a few blankets. The patterns that we will use are the ones offered below: In Christ, Fr Sam” Please use the following instructions for your squares. We chose three simple stitches for our knitted squares.
